The control measurement is an important procedure for monitoring the volume of completed construction and installation works and the associated financial costs. This procedure allows for monitoring by comparing the actual volume of work and costs with those planned in the design documentation and contracts. Thus, the control measurement serves as the basis for calculating funds and ensuring transparency in financial transactions.
Official notification
Before the start of the control measurement, the controlling authority is obliged to notify the participants three working days in advance. This notification must be in writing and include the time and place of the events. Interested parties form a list of official representatives to ensure their participation in the inspection. Participants in the control measurement include representatives of the developer, contractor and design organizations. If the notified persons are not present, the control measurement can still be carried out, but with a corresponding entry in the inspection report.
Inspection procedure
The control measurement is carried out on the basis of an order issued by the head of the controlling authority. Before the start of the inspection, the inspector draws up a summary list of the work performed based on the available reports. The control measurement is carried out using specialized equipment and devices, as well as by visual inspection. The inspector must present an official ID and an order, and record the results of the inspection in a log.
Documentation
The work production log records data on the control measurement, including compliance with the orders and the use of building materials in accordance with technical standards. Incorrect maintenance or lack of records in this log may lead to the inspection being recognized as illegal.
Inspection results
After the control measurement is completed, a report is drawn up recording the results of the inspection. If violations related to non-compliance with the requirements of design documentation and standards are identified, a corresponding report is drawn up. If there are no violations, a certificate is issued. If the participants refuse to sign the report, a note is left in it, and the report itself is sent to the inspected entity with a delivery notification.
The control measurement is not just a formality, but an important element of quality control and compliance with standards in construction. It ensures reliability and transparency of all construction processes, thereby contributing to the overall efficiency of companies in the construction industry.
